Barry Dubinsky understands that success comes when the client’s needs are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Having first-chaired close to forty state and federal cases in his career, Barry has developed the skills to successfully try cases and the knowledge to recognize when to counsel for a resolution that minimizes the risks inherent in litigation.

Barry focuses his practice on first-party property damage litigation, premises liability, automobile litigation, general liability and casualty, as well as construction litigation, trucking litigation, and products liability.

Barry is a certified instructor of insurance education in the State of Florida and has lectured to thousands of claims professionals on a variety of topics.

When not litigating on behalf of his clients, Barry volunteers as a mentor with the program Taking Stock with Children. The program provides students with a Florida pre-paid college scholarship on the condition that they fulfill a variety of requirements, including earning good grades and staying out of trouble. Barry enjoys spending time with his family and playing in and managing his local softball league.

Representative Matters

  • Obtained an outstanding result in a million-dollar negligent security claim involving the plaintiff allegedly being kidnapped, assaulted, and injured during a trip to our client’s gas station. The Plaintiff ultimately agreed to settle the claim for $20,000.00 after completing discovery and in the face of a no-liability defense.
  • Obtained a voluntary dismissal with prejudice in a first-party claim for insurance benefits after uncovering a fraudulent scheme of failing to uncover prior claims and similar property conditions.
  • Obtained an order to dismiss the complaint with prejudice in a first-party mold remediation claim.
  • Obtained a voluntary dismissal with prejudice immediately before trial in a first-party claim for insurance benefits after contested discovery. The defense asserted the winds were insufficient to cause the claimed roof damage.
