Work hard, and everything will fall into place. If it does not, work harder.  These life lessons have guided Kevin through his career and continue to make him successful.

Kevin Grim focuses his practice on personal injury, first-party property, and construction-defect litigation. He prides himself on his communicability, responsiveness, and analysis. Whether it be early settlement or trial, Kevin takes a long-game approach in every case to determine the most effective and efficient method to bring about the best possible result for the client.

Kevin began his practice in New Jersey on the plaintiff’s side of the bar, where he litigated against some of the top attorneys in the tri-state area and gained extensive experience in a variety of civil litigation, and eventually insurance defense. He defended insurance companies and government entities in matters involving personal/bodily injury, no-fault personal injury protection, subrogation, and workers’ compensation. Upon his return to Florida, Kevin continued his legal career at a Fort Lauderdale-based firm specializing in insurance fraud investigation and litigation in first-party property and first-party auto claims.

During his time in law school, Kevin clerked for the Honorable Judge Gary R. Cowart of Broward County Court and later interned for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, successfully litigating numerous cases in appellate court.

Kevin was born and raised in Plantation, Florida to a blue-collar, working-class family of entrepreneurial food concessions and caterers. From the age of 14, he began helping with his parent’s business. Being the first on-site and the last to leave, Kevin’s family business taught him the importance of diligence, adaptability, and an iron-clad work ethic. When he is not busy representing his clients, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and young son with another on the way. Kevin is a former swimmer and current novice “maker” trying his hand in woodworking and blacksmithing while attempting to keep as many fingers connected and burn-free as possible.
