Daniel is an associate in the New Orleans office. With a background in commercial litigation, Daniel’s work has primarily been in financial restructuring from the debtor’s perspective.

Daniel also represents a manufacturing company, various business owners, a boutique investment bank, and a private equity fund in a variety of commercial litigation and transactional matters. He has also worked directly with senior in-house counsel for two of the largest companies in the Oil and Gas and Hospitality industries.

The son of a dual-citizen, Italian-American business owner, Daniel grew up with an intimate understanding of the distinct realities and challenges of operating manufacturing businesses, both domestically and abroad. Having studied at the London School of Economics and later, researching and modeling consumer equities for a San Francisco-based hedge fund, Daniel is uniquely suited to communicate and appreciate the commercial interests and complex legal needs of his corporate clients.

Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law, where he also received a certificate in Environmental Law. During law school, Daniel split his summers and school year between working for Galloway and clerking for the Honorable Andrew W. Austin in the Western District of Texas.

Daniel has lived throughout the United States and abroad, spending the majority of his time in Washington, D.C.; Jackson Hole; London; and Lausanne, Switzerland. Outside of work, Daniel is an avid outdoorsman whose passions include climbing, skiing, hunting, fishing, and photography. His adventures have included a summit attempt of Mt. Yotei in Hokaaido, Japan; ski-touring the Honda Valley beneath Aconcagua in Chile and Argentina; and ski-mountaineering in the Tetons of Wyoming. He is also currently training for a marathon.
