Christopher M. Graves

OVERVIEW

Chris approaches each case intending to resolve his client’s legal issues efficiently and effectively.  He has the knowledge and skill to guide his clients through litigation. In addition, he is exceptionally versed in the critical early stages of post-accident investigation and factual development, given his prior experience as a plaintiff’s attorney.

Chris focuses his practice on insurance defense, including general liability, construction defects, trucking, Longshore, and workers’ compensation claims in Mississippi and Alabama. He also is a licensed work comp mediator.

Chris was born and raised in Louisiana but has made the Gulf Coast his home for nearly the last decade as he fell in love with the coastal way of life. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing, the Big Easy, the Florida Keys, and everything water/beach related.  He is an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans, as well as LSU sports. Chris played football at Millsaps College under Mike Dubose, where his Senior class won four straight Conference Championships, a feat no other class at Millsaps has ever achieved. He also holds multiple school and conference passing records and was a Connerly Trophy finalist.

Representative Matters

• Achieved a favorable settlement in a trucking accident case where Plaintiff demanded millions of dollars but settled for a fraction.
• Represented multiple Fortune 100 and 500 clients in several major insurance defense claims.
