Katherine became an attorney because she values professionalism, integrity, and helping others. She understands that her clients need accurate case assessments, timely communication, and cost-effective defense strategies. Throughout her more than 15 years’ experience as an attorney, Katherine has consistently maintained these values.

Katherine devotes her practice to the defense of insurance and business interests in Alabama and Louisiana. She represents both insurers and insureds in third-party bodily injury and property damage claims, with a focus on insurance coverage matters. She has also represented represented plaintiffs in a variety of tort, contract, and construction matters, experience which has provided her with with valuable skills and insight in evaluating her cases. Katherine has received a Martindale Hubbell rating of “AV Preeminent.”

Outside of the office, Katherine enjoys traveling with her husband and son, cooking, visiting museums, and reading.  She is also an active member of her church and enjoys teaching an adult Sunday School class.

Representative Matters

  • Represented an insurer in a coverage dispute regarding the scope of an employee or volunteer worker bodily injury exclusion.
  • Successfully applied for writs at the state court of appeal on behalf of an insurer in a coverage dispute and obtained grant of summary judgment in favor of the insurer concerning the scope of a classification limitation endorsement.
  • Represented an insurer in a coverage dispute concerning an exclusion of injury to employees, contractors, and employees of contractors.
