Kenny R. Cantrell believes effective communication, proactive strategic thinking, and accurate assessment of the options to resolve a matter are most important to achieve the client’s goals and expectations. He has extensive experience trying matters to verdict and has resolved thousands of other matters, giving him the experience to pursue the best options for favorable results.

Kenny’s diverse client base includes entrepreneurs, franchisees, closely held and family-owned businesses, healthcare companies and professionals, trucking companies, property management companies, hotels, restaurants, real estate developers, construction companies, technology companies, and insurers in all phases of dispute resolution. Matters include active litigation in transportation litigation, professional malpractice defense, first-party property defense, employment and harassment matters, complex insurance coverage matters, and commercial litigation.

In addition, Kenny provides consulting services for corporations and small business on security and premises liability matters having defended a large variety of negligent security claims and Dram Shop Act claims. Kenny also advises clients on the validity and enforceability on contractual defense, indemnity language, and additional insured.

Kenny is passionate about improving healthcare for the underserved. He is a member of the Community Advisory Board, providing legal counsel for the United Healthcare for the Rural Underserved, an organization with a mission to improve the health and well-being of rural and underserved people worldwide. He is also an avid cross-fitter and sportsman, especially kickball, and he co-hosts a weekly sports talk show.

Representative Matters

  • Obtained full defense verdict in a premise liability matter in Gwinnett County Georgia.
  • Prevailed on a summary judgment in favor of a major fast-food chain in a high-exposure, personal injury matter. The plaintiff was an employee who suffered a catastrophic brain injury. The court ruled that our client had no responsibility for the employee’s injury due to the scope of work and contracts.
  • Obtained a full defense verdict in a premises liability matter in which the plaintiff slipped and fell in a hole while walking through a parking lot at the client’s business. The plaintiff sustained a knee fracture and wrist dislocation.
  • Obtained a full defense verdict in a high-exposure dram shop case in Florida.
  • Obtained summary judgement for one of the world’s largest fast-food chains with nearly 40,000 stores.
  • Obtained summary judgment in a wrongful death transportation case. After reviewing deposition testimony and expert opinions, the court found our client was not negligent as a matter of law and had no responsibility for the deadly accident.
