Kenny R. Cantrell, III is an associate at Galloway’s Atlanta office. Mr. Cantrell received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law where he was a member of the Bench and Bar Honor Society and a member for the Alabama Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review. Mr. Cantrell also earned an L.L.M from Emory University in Commercial Law and Litigation. While in law school he served as a Legal Extern for the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Alabama’s Civil Litigation Division. He also served as a Legal Intern for Judge Andrea Simonton in the Southern District of Florida.

After law school, Mr. Cantrell served as an Attorney-Advisor in the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Administration and Review before beginning his career in civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cantrell spent nearly seven years at one of the largest full-service insurance defense firms in Florida where he focused on high exposure premises liability, motor vehicle, complex trucking and first party property cases. Mr. Cantrell relocated to Atlanta in 2019 and now handles a variety of general liability and commercial litigation claims involving high exposure personal injury, property, real estate, transportation and other related claims.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Cantrell earned his undergraduate degree in History from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee before he was commissioned into the United States Army and served in the 278th Military Intelligence Battalion for about six years.
