Jeffrey M. Lenkov, Esq.
Jeffrey M. Lenkov received his Juris Doctorate in May 1991 from the Northern Illinois University College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University in May 1987. Mr. Lenkov has extensive experience in civil litigation specializing in defending employment lawsuits, labor matters, and tort claims. Mr. Lenkov also has vast experience handling all types of food borne illness claims, including interacting with government agencies on clients’ behalf. He has served as lead trial counsel in several class action lawsuits. Mr. Lenkov handles complex cases in both State and Federal courts for prominent national and international clients. He has represented professional sports franchises and athletes in litigated and transactional matters. Mr. Lenkov provides seminars for clients on various issues, including risk prevention and strategies for avoiding workplace harassment.
Mr. Lenkov has served as a Judge Pro Tem in the Los Angeles Superior Court and is a past recipient of the Wiley M. Manuel Award for Pro Bono legal services. He has litigated high profile cases and is sought out by prominent clients who request that he personally handles their cases. Mr. Lenkov regularly serves as supervising counsel to outside counsel.
Mr. Lenkov has negotiated and drafted numerous contracts, including production, distribution, and employment service agreements for entertainment clients. He has litigated copyright, trademark, and contract cases. Mr. Lenkov has licensed, assigned, and obtained rights to computer software and interactive media. Additionally, he has negotiated directly with guilds and unions on his clients’ behalf. He has also drafted comprehensive collective bargaining agreements.
R. Diane Flores, Esq.
R. Diane Flores is an associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Marder, Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez LLP, where she focuses her practice on general liability, premises liability, and construction defect. Ms. Flores has a broad range of experience in defense litigation, specifically in the areas of construction defect, construction site personal injury, premises liability, and public utility property damage. She has also handled cases involving state and federal artist rights concerning the Visual Artist Rights Act and California Art Preservation Right, as well as toxic torts and insurance coverage determinations, including contractual indemnity interpretation and subrogation. Ms. Flores drafted and prepared a successful motion for summary judgment in a premises liability case.
Ms. Flores received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California in 1999 and her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern School of Law in 2005. While obtaining her law degree, Ms. Flores externed for the Honorable Judge Terry J. Hatter, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. During the summer of 2003, she participated in the Buenos Aires Summer Abroad Program at the University of Buenos Aires.
