Ben Zimmern in the firm’s Pensacola office obtained a defense verdict following a three day jury trial in Escambia County, Florida. Ben defended a local general contractor and its employee leasing company against claims by a former employee that he was retaliated against for pursuing workers compensation benefits. In returning a defense verdict, the jury rejected the plaintiff’s request for over $300,000 in wages and non-economic damages.
