Daedrea D. Fenwick has been appointed to a leadership role within the Tort Insurance and Trial Practice Section (TIPS) of the American Bar Association. Daedrea will serve as a Vice-Chair to the Self-Insurers and Risk Managers General Committee for the 2018-2019 bar year. The TIPS Self-Insurers and Risk Managers (SIRM) Committee brings together attorneys, including in-house counsel, self-insurers, and risk management professionals. This provides them the opportunity to connect with and learn from business and legal leaders about self-insurance and efficient risk management.
This leadership appointment is a clear recognition of Daedrea’s competence and experience, commitment to TIPS, and reputation among the nearly 18,000 TIPS members. The position will also provide Daedrea with a unique opportunity to work and network with other leaders around the country, be at the forefront of thought leadership and emerging issues, participate in cutting edge nationally recognized CLE programs, publish in any number of peer publications, and participate in and help plan activities that enhance professional development, ethics, diversity, and public service.
