New Orleans Director Kathleen Charvet will be speaking at the American Conference Institute’s 7th Annual Forum on Admiralty and Maritime Claims and Litigation. The forum will take place on February 25-27, 2019 in Houston, Texas. She will be speaking on the topic of, “Adapting to Evolving Regulation and Enforcement Initiatives for Vessel Operations.” The session will cover recognizing the key challenges for shipping emissions regulations in 2019 and beyond; analyzing safety legislation before Congress in wake of El Faro; and identifying the implications of the “Delivering Government Solutions in the 21st Century” plan.
