The Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith team in Texas obtained summary judgment on behalf of our client, a local bar in Houston, on a dram shop wrongful death case. Director Mark “Tiger” Pharr, Director Andy Krone, and Associate Jordan White provided result-driven representation with key defensive strategies to produce this favorable outcome.
In this case, the decedent was alleged to have been overserved at our client’s bar before driving while intoxicated. He later exited his car on a road and was hit and killed by a passing driver. Tiger, Andy, and Jordan utilized their skills, knowledge, and expertise to get the case resolved in the summary judgment phase. When the Plaintiff family member was unable to provide any evidence that our client overserved the decedent, the judge granted the motion for summary judgment.
