Jason Waguespack, Managing Director of Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith, has been elected Chairperson of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. He has served on the museum’s Board of Trustees since 2020, most recently as Board Treasurer.
“It is an honor to lead this institution at such an exciting moment in its history, as we approach Ogden Museum of Southern Art’s 25th anniversary. I look forward to working with our dedicated Board of Trustees to advance the Museum’s unique educational mission to deepen the understanding and appreciation of Southern art and culture, to grow its community, and to ensure that the Museum is best positioned to become the acknowledged international leader in its field,” says Waguespack.

Jason Waguespack: Leader in the Legal Profession and in the Arts
Jason Waguespack has served as Galloway’s Managing Director since 2009, and his strategy to gather talented attorneys and provide resources for them to deliver excellent client service has led the Firm’s growth across the Gulf South and Midwest.
In addition to his Firm leadership, Waguespack maintains an active and robust maritime and international law practice as well as advising on corporate law to clients with international interests. Waguespack is an associate professor of law at Tulane University School of Law, and a member of the adjunct faculty at the Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business.
Waguespack’s dedication to the conservation of the arts and New Orleans is a hallmark of his community outreach. In addition to Ogden, he is on the Board for the New Orleans Film Society and has supported the Contemporary Arts Center, the Historic New Orleans Collection, the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans. and the New Orleans Museum of Art.
