Our Dallas office is seeking a Legal Assistant. Tasks include scheduling depositions, hearings, meetings, deadlines, drafting correspondence, maintaining files, e-filing, opening client matters, and other job-related duties as they are assigned.
Skill Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as Legal Assistant in a law firm environment
- Knowledge of day-to-day operations in a law firm, and state and federal court systems
- Technical skills in software applications
- Working knowledge of document management software
- Organizational skills and excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Ability to multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Qualified candidates will be self-starters with excellent communication and writing skills. Must be detail-oriented and willing to work independently as well as with a team in an active practice with all levels of staff and attorneys.
