Galloway Associate James “Drew” Morock has been committed to St. Baldrick’s Day and kids with cancer for fourteen years and has served as lead event organizer for the last five years. A key hallmark of the event each year includes having his head shaved.
“It’s an opportunity to show solidarity with children going through cancer treatments and raise money to help fund research to cure their various cancers,” Drew shared.
The funds raised to support pediatric cancer research has impacted local youth, with grants being dedicated to Tulane, Ochsner, and Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
Drew will lead an event for St. Baldrick’s Foundation at Finn McCool’s Irish Pub on Saturday, March 23. The all-day event raises critical funds for childhood cancer research.
