Galloway attorneys Autumn George, and Arthur Alves, along with their team, obtained a favorable jury outcome on behalf of a national HVAC company. Their client was sued for approximately $1.5MM for past and future medical expenses and pain and suffering after an accident with the company truck occurred. The plaintiff underwent three surgeries in total, which included a two-level fusion. In trial, Autumn and Arthur argued that the medical conditions resulting in the surgeries were not related to the accident. After two hours of deliberation, the jury awarded less than a 1/3 of the requested amount. The award amount that Autumn and Arthur previously assessed was the actual value of the case, and the plaintiff refused to negotiate anywhere within that range. A great day for their client and for the justice system.
