Student Appreciation
Leanna McGee, one of the scholarship recipients, commented, “I am honored to receive the Galloway Scholarship. As a strong advocate for leaders, families, and youth, I view this award as both affirmation and motivation to continue uplifting and empowering others—just as the Galloway Committee has when making this investment in me.”

Aleisha Johnson Cook remarked, “Receiving this scholarship is truly an honor, and it carries with it both pride and a deep sense of responsibility. I am sincerely grateful to the donors for their generosity and for their investment in my legal education. As I continue my journey through law school, this support encourages me to remain grounded in service and mindful of the responsibility that comes with my legal training. I intend to honor this generosity by continuing to lead with accountability, compassion, and dedication to meaningful community impact, and by paying this support forward through sustained service and leadership.”
