Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith is proud to announce that our firm has joined the Mansfield Certification for 2024-2025. We strive to be champions for diversity and inclusion, building a firm that values diversity and fosters an inclusive workforce, knowing that our strength lies in our differences.
Our participation in this certification process is an initiative of the firm’s leadership and our Diversity and Inclusion Committee, co-chaired by Sarah Baggett and Adraon Greene. On this new partnership, Sarah commented, “As Galloway attorneys, we go way above and way beyond for our clients and our team. Being champions of diversity and inclusion improves our client outcomes, our teamwork, and our communities. By partnering with Mansfield, our firm has taken a substantial and intentional step to solidify what we value – that Galloway is a place of inclusivity, fairness, respect, and opportunity for all. We are looking forward to continued growth through this process.”
Since joining the Mansfield Certification process in July 2024, we have been working to increase the transparency and accessibility of our advancement processes, and to open the door wider to ensure that all talent at Galloway have transparent, fair, and equal opportunities to be considered for leadership roles and activities. This increased accessibility benefits our talented team members and our clients.
Additionally, we participate in monthly Knowledge Sharing calls with other Mansfield law firms and Diversity Lab to exchange best practices and discuss challenges. By working alongside other firms and Diversity Lab, our firm has the structure and guidance needed to build and maintain transparent processes.
Joining over 365 firms in the Mansfield community, we believe that by making our workplace one where everyone can succeed, we can go way above and way beyond in serving our clients and our communities.
