Galloway attorney David Burr obtained a dismissal of all claims in a quiet title action brought by an alleged judgment creditor claiming clear title to a residential property encumbered by the mortgage lien our client sought to protect and demanding that the owner of record, who had been living there for the better part of a decade, be ejected and enjoined from trespassing. When Galloway became involved, the action had been pending for more than two years, and our client was facing a motion for final summary judgment, with the final hearing only two months away. Galloway immediately jumped into action and prepared an aggressive response to show the Court that not only was plaintiff not entitled to summary judgment, but plaintiff could never prevail at trial. Galloway filed the response and within 24 hours, the plaintiff dismissed the action in its entirety.
