On behalf of our contracting client, Ben Grau, a Director in our New Orleans office, obtained a million dollar judgment against the manufacturers and sellers of defective bridge conduit. The litigation involved claims in warranty and contract and under the Louisiana Products Liability Act. The multi-week federal jury trial involved extensive fact and expert testimony concerning issues of defective product design and manufacture, inadequate instructions and specifications, and delay damages on the multi-year, multi-million dollar project for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
