The successful client, JPMorgan Chase, prevailed on its claims to quiet title and secure a first lien deed of trust that had been lost and never recorded against the Property in the local real estate records. Scott and Kristin overcame numerous objections and challenges to evidence related to Chase’s status as the “holder” of the loan, the lack of original “best evidence” and other defenses to prevail at trial.
