Galloway Johnson Director Andrea Albert successfully defended an insurance carrier at trial in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. In that jury trial, the Court granted a directed verdict at the close of plaintiff’s case, dismissing the insurance carrier from a jury trial where allegations of noise pollution were made against a local music club. The Court determined that the insurance policy’s Known Loss and Prior Manifestation exclusions precluded coverage to the insureds.
A Director in the firm’s Mandeville, LA office, Andrea’s practice focuses on defense litigation, from trial through appeal, and includes the areas of transportation and trucking (including cargo claims), insurance coverage, property damage, premises liability, contractual liability, and personal injury.
