Jason Waguespack Selected to New Orleans CityBusiness Leadership in Law Hall of Fame

Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith Managing Director Jason Waguespack has been named a 2025 Leadership in Law Honoree by New Orleans CityBusiness. Because this marks Jason’s third time receiving this honor, he will be inducted into the Leadership in Law Hall of Fame.

Leadership in Law recognizes legal professionals for their career and community accomplishments. The 2025 honorees will be recognized at in-person event this fall and in the October 17 issue of CityBusiness.

For over three decades, Jason Waguespack has distinguished himself as a premier maritime attorney in the Gulf Coast. His international practice on litigation and transactional matters provides his clients with outstanding service and sound business advice.

Jason has served as Galloway’s Managing Director since 2009. Under his leadership, the firm has grown from five offices in three states to 13 offices in 7 states. In 2023, he was named the Distinguished Maritime Lawyer by the New Orleans Bar Association.

Outside of his practice, Jason serves on the boards of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Vieux Carre Property Owners and Residents Association, New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation, and the New Orleans Film Society. He also teaches courses at Tulane University in both the School of Law and the A.B. Freeman School of Business.
