Joe Hassinger, a director in our New Orleans office, has been elected chairman of the Asset Management Authority charged with operation and management of those non-flood assets formerly held by the Orleans Levee District. The properties under the Authority’s purview include Lakefront Airport, two marinas, commercial real estate and over 5 miles of parks and parkways. Joe, who previously served as vice-chairman, was elected chairman at the Board’s August meeting.
