Joe Hassinger to serve as Instructor at Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy
GJTBS Director Joe Hassinger has been invited to serve as an instructor at the 2012 LADC Trial Academy. The Trial Academy offers the opportuinty to learn trial advocacy from accomplished trial lawyers, trial judges and advocacy teachers during three days of intensive “learning-by-doing” training. Participants learn to direct and cross-examine fact and expert witnesses, lay foundations, and make powerful and persuasive opening statements and closing arguments. Participants also learn to apply courtroom evidence principles. All performances are digitally recorded and critiqued by the faculty of experienced judges, trial lawyers and advocacy teachers. Demonstrations and lectures complement participant performances.
