Hassinger Jr. has been invited to join the prestigious Council on Litigation Management. The Council is a nonpartisan alliance comprised of thousands of insurance companies, corporations, Corporate Counsel, Litigation and Risk Managers, claims professionals and attorneys. Through education and collaboration the organization’s goals are to create a common interest in the representation by firms of companies, and to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense. Selected attorneys and law firms are extended membership by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows.
Lambert J. Hassinger Jr. (Joe) has devoted his practice exclusively to litigation in both state and federal courts. Joe has tried cases in every federal district in Louisiana as well as in parishes across the State. He has also successfully litigated cases before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
He has earned an “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, based on Legal Knowledge, Analytical Capabilities, Judgment, Communication Ability and Legal Experience, and he has earned a Martindale Hubbell Client Review Rating of “Preeminent” based on communication ability, analytical capabilities, judgement, legal knowledge and legal experience.
Joe currently serves as the President of IALDA, the International Amusement and Leisure Defense Association (www.ialda.org), a non-profit association of operators, attorneys, insurance professionals, experts and others actively engaged in representing the interests of the amusement, recreation, sports & leisure industries. He also serves on the Charter Board of Directors of the National Retail and Restaurant Defense Association (NRRDA), an organization formed to advance and protect the interests of the retail and restaurant industries by developing strategies to reduce the number and severity of claims, manage common risks and enhance the defense of litigated matters. He is an active member of International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions(IAAPA), American Society of Testing & Materials(ASTM), F24 Committee (Amusement Rides & Devices),F08 Committee (Sports Equipment and Facilities), and the Associated Builders & Contractors(ABC), New Orleans Chapter.
