In what’s been considered Insurance Journal’s Most Noteworthy Topics of 2020, and now aptly dubbed as “Operation Sideswipe,” an attorney has finally pled guilty to a wire and mail fraud conspiracy, admitting that he helped orchestrate numerous vehicle crashes into big rigs to score bogus insurance payouts.
