Featured: Bobbi Roquemore, Mercedes Sears

Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith, a leading corporate defense and litigation firm, has added two skilled attorneys to its talented roster in New Orleans and Houston. Bobbi Roquemore and Mercedes Sears bring their insights and expertise to Galloway’s experienced team of attorneys who provide result-driven representation in Louisiana, Texas, and nationwide.

Bobbi Roquemore has joined the Firm’s Longshore and Defense Base Act team in New Orleans, and will have an additional office in Houston.  She sets herself apart with her investigative research, extensive experience, and skill. Prior to her private practice, Bobbi gained valuable experience and expertise clerking for the Honorable Clement Kennington with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges.

Before practicing law, Bobbi was a journalist reporting for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Dallas Morning News. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio.

Mercedes Sears is a defense attorney representing clients in a variety of litigation and liability matters across Texas in Galloway’s Houston office.  With a client-focused approach, she actively listens to understand her clients’ diverse business and legal objectives, crafting strategic litigation plans tailored to their unique needs. Mercedes joins Galloway’s litigation and coverage team, focusing on the construction and transportation industries.

A Houston native, Mercedes enjoys cooking, reading non-fiction, cheering on Texas A&M sports, and spending time with her husband.

We welcome Bobbi and Mercedes to Galloway, and we look forward to their continued contributions across the Gulf South.
