Mary Giles, in our St. Louis office, secured a win for a large group of homeowner plaintiffs following a trial in St. Louis County, Missouri. Two and a half years of contentious litigation, during which Mary successfully argued to the Court that the Missouri Uniform Trust Code should apply to a subdivision trust, led to a multi-day trial against a rogue trustee. Not only did the Court enter its Judgment against the trustee for money damages caused to the Trust for breach of the Subdivision’s Trust Agreement, but the Court awarded plaintiffs their attorneys’ fees.
