Tiger Pharr and Lindsay Meador were successful in defending a national industrial services company in a case in which the company’s driver was accused of making a left turn into a private driveway in front of Plaintiff’s vehicle that was attempting to pass the company truck from behind. Plaintiff claimed that the accident caused the need for her cervical fusion at C5-6, left wrist carpal tunnel release surgery, and treatment for epileptic seizures. The case was tried before an Iberia Parish, Louisiana jury that found the Plaintiff to be 53% at fault and awarded gross damages of $118,000 for a net recovery of $55,460. Plaintiff asked the jury to award her $960,000 in damages.
