Hayden understands the practice of law is not all legal research and brief writing. While he places a great deal of emphasis on thoroughly and accurately researched legal conclusions and concise, articulately written briefs and motions, he also understands that all of this must come with clear communication and availability to his clients. Hayden understands that litigation can sometimes be arduous and frustrating, and he strives to be personable, clear, and honest with his clients at all times.
Before coming back home to Louisiana, Hayden worked at a firm in Houston that specialized in commercial litigation and federal practice. While there, Hayden was able to represent large real estate clients and corporations and conducted extensive legal research into defamation, state actors, and the First Amendment. He now specializes in Workers’ Compensation, insurance defense and coverage, and general civil litigation.
Hayden lives with his wife, Katie, and their two dogs—his service dog, Sawyer, a black golden retriever/Labrador retriever cross, and a white lab named Riley. He is an avid and veracious sports fan, reader, card player, and enjoyer of just about any type of music. He has been a musician for nearly 20 years, these days focusing primarily on Cajun fiddle. With his background in computers, he also enjoys programming.
