Representative Matters
- Obtained two zero damages verdicts from an Orleans Civil District Court jury for a national insurer and its insured without any defense to fault against a seven-figure demand in an automobile personal injury matter.
- Secured pretrial dismissals and defense verdicts at trial for government agencies such as law enforcement, fire protection districts, and emergency medical services in liability and employment actions in state and federal courts.
- Successfully proved coverage defenses, including arson, in a first-party insurance action stemming from a catastrophic fire, leading to a complete defense jury verdict at trial, which was affirmed by the U.S. Fifth Circuit on appeal.
