A notable case is a 2024 damages-only motor vehicle case against a prominent Plaintiff’s firm. The Plaintiff demanded $15M, and the final pre-verdict settlement offer was $1M. The jury returned a verdict of $85,000, which was less than Plaintiff’s medical bills, awarded no future damages, and eliminated any recovery for pain and suffering.
