Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith has strengthened its Florida and Texas bench with the addition of two experienced attorneys. With expertise in commercial litigation, both will provide result-driven representation that partners with clients to go way above and way beyond in achieving their business and legal objectives.
T. Lee Smith has returned to Galloway in the Firm’s Fort Lauderdale office as Special Counsel. As a diligent commercial and maritime litigator, he thinks strategically and creatively when approaching each case. Lee brings professionalism and courtesy towards all parties in commercial litigation, insurance defense, and maritime law in Florida.
Lee is a native of Bradenton, Florida, where as a child, he spent time in the courthouse, observing trials, hearings, his police officer father, and his mother who worked as a trial clerk. When not advocating for his clients, he enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.
Braxton Evans has joined the Houston office, focusing on commercial litigation, including third party insurance defense. He takes a pragmatic and creative approach to advising clients on the legal strategies that will protect their businesses without wasting needless time and unnecessary legal fees.
A native Houstonian, Braxton enjoys recreational sports, such as basketball, flag football, soccer, and softball, and traveling with friends and family. Additionally, he is deeply committed to championing his community through service with his church and various other charitable organizations in the Houston area.
Galloway welcomes Lee and Braxton to its talented team of attorneys.
