Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith employment lawyer Doris Bobadilla presented a CLE on employment law matters for the New Orleans Bar Association. The CLE was a part of the 2024 Procrastinators’ Program in December 2024.

Doris presented on LGBTQIA+ issues in employment law, a course that was both theoretical and highly practical. She and her professional colleagues explored the intersection between LGBTQIA+ protections with the workplace through multiple fact patterns, each designed to empower legal practitioners to identify legal issues and recommend creative solutions.

In her more than 25 years of litigation experience, Doris focuses her practice on employment law and litigates cases before the Louisiana Workforce Commission, the Mississippi Workers’ Commission, and claims before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

As the first Hispanic woman on record to be admitted to practice law in Mississippi, Doris knows that diversity leads to better outcomes and a more productive work environment.

Galloway’s employment lawyers dedicate themselves to partnering with employers, thoroughly understanding their unique challenges, and delivering results-oriented legal representation that helps them achieve their organizational goals.
