Donovan has extensive experience in the areas of automobile, commercial trucking, transportation as well as insurance defense and coverage. For several years, Donovan has been handling matters concerning state and federal laws and regulations issued by the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and is proficient in the 49 Code of Federal Regulations, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Donovan also provides assistance to his clients in matters involving complex commercial litigation, contractual disputes, real estate transactions, premises liability, product liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, and employment law.
His diverse experience centered on litigation, makes him a great counselor on matters of compliance. Prior to joining Galloway, he created an automobile and commercial trucking practice for an Am Law firm, where he managed a variety of high-profile multi-million dollar claims and provided his clients with a well-rounded array of legal services, including advising on financial and compliance matters.
Donovan enjoys a well-rounded and cultured life – he has lived in Southern California, Italy, Indiana, Florida, and now enjoys the finer points of Texas. Donovan attended Notre Dame Law School in South Bend, Indiana and is a recipient of USC’s Entertainment and Industry Certificate Program. Donovan is a licensed attorney in Florida and Texas and is interested in expanding into intellectual property, trademark, copyright, and entertainment law.
