ABOUT

Fraser

Fraser K. Mitchell is a New Orleans maritime law attorney who focuses on litigation and arbitration across a range of maritime matters. His practice includes maritime casualty losses, contract disputes, regulatory compliance, collisions, cargo claims, personal injury, charter party disputes, and marine regulatory issues. Fraser approaches each matter with careful attention to detail, providing clients with informed guidance in complex maritime disputes. His goal is simple: to combine his knowledge of maritime law with a commitment to partnering with clients in navigating their legal challenges.

A dual citizen of two seafaring nations, Fraser brings both personal and professional insight to the maritime industry. Since joining Galloway, he has contributed to maritime law matters, gaining practical insight into complex disputes. He previously served as managing editor for the Loyola New Orleans Maritime Law Journal and contributes regularly to The Loyola Current blog, reflecting his strong foundation in maritime legal scholarship.

Outside of his practice, Fraser enjoys studying history, particularly maritime history, playing soccer, and spending time with his fiancée.
