Mark Lehman practices in Galloway’s Tampa, Florida office and represents clients in civil matters. His litigation practice focuses on insurance defense, commercial disputes, and information technology disputes. Mark’s transactional practice focuses on information technology matters, such as data privacy, data management, and cybersecurity.
Mark received his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law with a certificate in intellectual property. Prior to joining Galloway, he spent nine years working as an information technology consultant. During that time, Mark provided consulting services for a variety of diverse clients, ranging in size from small to enterprise, across a broad range industries, such as health care, finance, sports and entertainment, manufacturing, and professional services.
He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and brings nearly a decade’s worth of practical experience to his information technology practice.
Representative Matters
- Obtained final summary judgment in favor of a real estate brokerage after the plaintiff, who fell victim to hackers, sought to recover against our client under a theory of negligence. We successfully argued that there was a valid exculpatory clause in a related sales contract that shielded our client from liability.
