ABOUT

Chad

Throughout his involvement with companies of various sizes and formal structures, Chad Ruhr has learned that the most crucial component to a working relationship is communication. Communication is more than simply a “check in the box”— it allows you to build trust and a relationship with clients that goes beyond a name on a pleading. Chad’s knowledge in a myriad of legal fields and genuine commitment to all of his cases allows him to build a lasting relationship with each one of his clients.

Chad’s practice is focused around insurance coverage and defense, construction defects, trucking and transportation, professional liability, and other general civil litigation matters. Chad’s practice areas also include the protection of an individual person’s or company’s intellectual property rights including trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks. He also specializes in business formation and development of a company’s formal structure including its respective governing documents, offering counsel to existing companies as to how they can best achieve their goals, and guiding clients through the process of incubating their ideas/business plans. Chad works diligently to ensure that his clients’ ideas grow into a profitable and rewarding endeavor.

Chad is a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast with an avid love of the water. He enjoys kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, swimming, relaxing on a beach with his dog, Bella, and skating around downtown Gulfport with his girlfriend, Kaylin. When Chad is not in the office or on the water, he enjoys traveling to new places throughout the world and planning his next big adventure.
