ABOUT

Thomas

Thomas Myers is an insurance defense attorney based in the Greater New Orleans area who focuses his practice on representing businesses and insurance carriers in general liability and insurance defense matters. He believes in a practical, efficient, and solution-oriented approach to litigation, partnering with clients from early case evaluation through resolution.

Thomas brings a unique perspective to his litigation practice. Before entering private practice, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kern A. Reese where he gained extensive experience with motion practice, bench trials, and jury trials. His experience working closely with the court provides valuable insight into how the courts may evaluate legal arguments and assess evidence.

Thomas also has experience representing plaintiffs in first-party bad faith claims. He draws on this experience in understanding how opposing counsel views claims and approaches litigation. This perspective helps him better understand the challenges his clients face and approach each matter intentionally, with a focus on developing litigation strategies that address his clients’ legal needs.

Thomas was born and raised in Magnolia, Mississippi. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife, April, and daughter, Tabitha, and playing golf.
