Nominated and voted on by their peers, Kathleen and Suzette have been recognized for their expertise and result-driven representation in the Greater New Orleans area.
Kathleen Charvet was recognized for her work in Admiralty and Maritime Law, having previously been recognized by New Orleans CityBusiness, Best Lawyers, and Martindale-Hubbell. For decades, she counsels and partners with her clients to quickly and efficiently determine the best strategies for defending their business interests. In addition to her maritime practice, Kathleen leads the Firm’s New Orleans Longshore and Defense Base Act team.
Suzette Marie Smith exclusively practices family law in both New Orleans and Lafayette. With over 36 years of experience, she counsels clients as a strong advocate during their challenging and trying times of their lives. Suzette is a Family Law Specialist certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization who has lectured at Loyola Law School, LSU Law, and the New Orleans Bar Association, among others.
