- While defending a trucking client in a personal injury matter, helped uncover a fraud ring, which the media dubbed “Operation Sideswipe.” The case ultimately resulted in federal criminal convictions of the plaintiffs, their attorney, and numerous others connected to this and similar staged accidents. The case was featured in Insurance Journal’s “Most Noteworthy Topics” in 2020.
- Obtained an outstanding result for a trucking client in exposing medical funding scheme, resulting in an order from the court significantly reducing the amount of medical expenses the plaintiffs could recover.
- Secured summary judgment on behalf of a restaurant/bar in a premises liability claim.
- Following cross-examination, obtained a personal injury plaintiff’s agreement to dismiss the entire case against our client on the record during his deposition.
