With her experience in defending individuals, corporations, and governmental entities, Jennifer Woulfe’s clients depend on her abilities inside and outside of the courtroom. Jennifer’s litigation strategy, deep understanding of the industry, and commitment to client service give her the edge she needs to serve as a successful advocate for her clients.
Jennifer focuses her practice on automobile liability, highway design, premises liability, product liability, and insurance law. She maintains a trial practice in the state and federal courts of Missouri and Illinois and has argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. Well-respected among her peers, she was awarded the John C. Shepherd Professionalism Award for 2016-2017. She was also selected for her second term as a member of the Theodore McMillian Inn of Court, an invite-only association of lawyers and judges who share a passion for professional excellence. Jennifer previously served as a member of the Inn as a law student as part of its inaugural pupilage class.
Jennifer currently serves as President-Elect of The Lawyers Association of St. Louis and is a choreographer and performer in the Association’s annual Gridiron Show. She enjoys spending time with her two dogs and is an advocate for the ethical treatment of animals.
Representative Matters
- Secured favorable verdict for a trucking company and its driver in which the plaintiff claimed traumatic brain injury and spinal injury. Plaintiff asked the jury to award $13,080,000. The jury returned a verdict for $150,000.
- Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a Missouri municipality in a property damage case involving an airplane.
- Obtained a favorable verdict in a motor vehicle accident between an automobile and a train, with 90% fault allocated to the plaintiff and a final verdict 1/3 the size of the plaintiff’s last demand.
- Secured summary judgment on behalf of a business in a fire case brought by the business’s landlord claiming over $1M in damages. Jennifer later successfully defended the summary judgment on appeal.
- Secured summary judgment in a premises liability in the City of St. Louis case based on insufficient evidence of negligence.
