Keenly focused and driven to exceed expectations, Adraon D. Adraon began his legal career defending premises liability, personal injury, insurance defense, toxic tort, and general civil litigation matters. His practice evolved to include oil & gas, products liability, construction defect, commercial litigation, and business disputes, having represented several Fortune 500 companies, major automotive manufacturers, architects and engineers, insurers, and National and Regional retailers. Additionally, Adraon has experience litigating death and catastrophic injury matters and complex multi-party litigation disputes. His employer’s liability practice focuses on Title VII with an emphasis on age, race, and sexual discrimination, including hostile work environment and quid pro quo harassment claims. Adraon also served as a Certified Contract Adviser for the National Football League Players’ Association.
As co-chair of Galloway’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Adraon works tirelessly to ensure the firm remains a beacon for law firms in the Gulf South that embraces a diverse and inclusive workforce. Outside of his practice, Adraon presently serves as a Chairman Emeritus and active member of the 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston, Inc. Notably, the chapter was recognized as Chapter of the Year for the first time and in the consecutive years in its 30 year history while he served as President and Chairman of the organizations Board Directors. He also serves on the National Bylaws Committee for the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. and is a past Secretary of the Commercial Litigation Section of the National Bar Association. He provides leadership to several other organizations and has served on the Board of Directors for the Achievement Through Leadership Foundation and Culture Arts Initiative.
